I have embarked upon a Master’s of Photography at RMIT, Melbourne. My first photography project will be based on a running theme in recent dreams. A long, sometimes arduous or perilous journey home. Protecting my cat figures largely in these dreams, my dead sister & parents and empty / vacant spaces. I’m interested in the link between the search for ‘home’ and the effect on this on humanity.

This week I went through the dreams to visually imagine the images. The final work may be a video, with the edited / composited surreal stills projected in front of me running. I researched photographers Todd Hido, Gregory Crewdson and Tara Wray and found academic and new’s articles that are relevant to my work.
